newly installed pioneer dvr 107 wont play any dvd's........

    i just installed a dvd drive and i can burn movies, but it wont play any movies (new or burned). I've tried windows media player 9 and it gives me the following message: 0xC00D1163: A problem occurred with digital copyright protection. I tried realplayer and it also gives a similar message. what can i do?

    try updating the firmware sounds like that could be your problem

    To update your firmware go to pioneer's website and look up your burner and download the needed firmware update. Also use power dvd or win dvd to watch the movies...
