Hi, I bought this game for my son used. He is 5. We figured out how to reset it. so we picked a dog and named him. But how do you earn money for food? TIA, Kate
You can earn money by training your dog for either the agility contest, disc contest, or obedience. If you want to train them for the agility contest, you take them on a walk and make a stop at the gym. It is the building with the picture of a dog jumping iver a pair of sticks. When you are tracing the path, you put it over the little dot so that there is a red dot in front of it. To train for the disc competition, go to one of the parks. There are two, and you should go to the park that doesn't have pictures of dogs on it because if you go to the one with pictures of dogs on it, the other dogs will want to play too and you won't get to train it well. You go to the park the same way as the gym, just when you trace the path for your walk, trace over the dot in front of the park so it turns red. To train for an obedience trial, you don't have to go on a walk. To see the instructions for how to train your dog, read the dog training book. To find the book, click on supplies list from the home page. Then you click care in the middle. Then just scroll down until you find Dog Training Book and click on it. This will give you the instructions on how to teach your dog all kinds of tricks. Once you think your dog is good enough in any of these areas, take him to the contest. You go to a contest by clicking go out on the home page. Then you click contest. Then you choose the contest you want to go to. Finally, you choose the dog you want to enter. The higher you rank in a contest the more money you will earn. You can also make money by taking your dogs on walks. When they find you something that you don't like, you can sell it at the secondhand shop. To sell something that your dog found, first click go out on the home menu. Then you click shopping. Next, click secondhand shop. Then you click the categories to find the thing you want to sell. You click on whatever item you want to sell. If you want to sell more than one of an item, you press the arrow so that more items are selected. Then you click sell.
