Nintendo DS games! .nds file but no .sav file??? HELP ME PLEASE!

    ok so my friend gave me his m3 simply(nintendo ds adapter) and so i got the firmware updated and all that stuff and he already had some games in there, and all the files are .nds and .sav, but when i download nds rom games from the internet, there is no .sav file, and nintendo ds doesnt let me play the game without it. it says that it will create one but it lies!!!! :( help me please!!! im such a noob T-T

    The .sav file is a save file. It is created after you play the first time. Just download the .nds game, run it on you DS and when you are done playing, it will create it...

    No defense for me being sloppy. It is, however, the second report of .sav files not being created by a flashcart. One is an M3, one is an R4.

    But then again, we have another noob poster who is claiming that an R4 kernel runs on a CycloDS, so who knows what these TCs are reporting.
