Hi Im trying to repair some Nintendo ds lite motherboards. They have no green light. And the way i have fixed that problem in the past is bridge the F1&2 fuses and then it powers up. And that does it.I have done that for both of my daughters ds lites after they droped them, A year ago and no problems. But no good this time. The way im testing them is I take the battery and insert it to the back of the board with one hand and with the other i flip the power switch and no lights. And no orange light when i plug the charger in nothing. I took my muilty tester to alot of the fuses To see if there open. Does anyone have any suggestion to pass on? Thankyou in advance!!
Sometimes there are other components that fail on the logic board. F1 and F2 are the only "commonly available" and replaceable compontents. Unless you have a schematic, SMT equipment and/or a lot of time to spend, at this point you're probably better off pitching the logic board and Looking for a replacement.
