Yes, I know there is already a post that has Nintendo USB where it turns it into an AP but no one would notice if I made a post. I just have a question and looking for someone to answer it. All help is appreciated.

OK so I have installed EVERYTHING from kcajblue's AP Tutorial. Everything works fine except for 1 thing. After playing a couple rounds in Super Smash Bros Brawl on my Wii with one of my friends, it got a major lag with like a network error and it logged me out of Nintendo WFC. This has happened twice. So I decided to uninstall the drivers and install the official Nintendo USB original software. OK so I did that, and I got NO MAJOR LAG just very little lag.

When I had the AP mode enabled I did forward and open 2 ports on my wired router and Windows Firewall. I opened and forwarded ports 29900 through 29901. I don't know if that makes any difference.

Now I wanna know what the Registration tool does differently than the ASUS software so that the quality of the WiFi is the same except I'm using the AP method.

If somehas played Brawl with a friend and had little lag, PLEASE tell me everything you did and/or didn't do. Example: Open certain ports on Firewall or Port Forwarding. ANYTHING that will make the USB run as smoothly as possible with Brawl.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ALL.

Wrong board perhaps. You might get more help in the Wii board.
