Hi guys I would just like to know if anyone could help me out with this problem. I am using TMPGEnc to convert avi files to mpeg files. I follow the initial setup and everything seems to work fine. When I play the file though there is no volume. I can see the picture just fine but that is it. I read throught the guide to TMPGEnc and i didnt see anything that would tell me why there was no sound. If anyone could help me out that would be great.

Tmpgenc doesn"t like some audio formats in AVI files and if your AVI file uses one of these Audio formats then Tmpgenc will not be able to read the audio and you will get a File with no audio...

The way to overcome this is to decompress the audio in your AVI file before encodeing it to Mpeg...If you PM me with your E-Mail address I can send you a small tool that will decompress the audio in your AVI file for you....

    Cheers
