No Audio when played on stand-alone Philip DVD 5982

    I have these AVI files that won't play the audio on a Philip DVD 5982.

    Gspot says the audio is:
    Codec:0x2000 (Dolby AC3) AC3 info:48000Hz 192 kb/s tot , stereo (2/0)

    I have had trouble with Dolby before not playing VOB files. With vob I had to convert DTS files to ac3 files.

    What can I use to convert the audio so it will play on the 5982.

    Forgot to mention that these files play fine on my computer
