simply because you've given us no new imformation to go on yet, i'm going to say make sure your IDE cables are seated properly on your mobo and drives.

    ok reinstall everything again:

    unplugg all your drives.

then in ide 1 slot in your mobo plug the hard drives the one with win set the jumpers to primary master, the other hdd secondary master.
then on your ide 2 connector plug the optical drivers set the dvd burner jumpers to master and the cd-rw slave.

*remember to first blow the dust from the mobo connector and drivers*

that should solve any problem related with config,or connect issues!

have you got the jumpers in the right place for master and slave, and do the ide cables connect the right way around - there is one end specially has to go into the motherboard in some pc's (like mine) and windows does not see my drives if master and slave do not connect on the specified connectors on the cable.

try switching the ide cable around, and connect only 1 piece of hardware at a time to begin with.

well, i tried to uninstall it and then restarting the computer but it still doesnt work but when i went to right click and went to properties on the drives. it said "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

    ****Wat should i do???
