hey uh my xbox plays cd/rw's just fine without a mod chip. Does this mean that i could backup my xbox games with out a mod? Sorry if its a dumb question but yeah if i burn the image it should be just the same as the original..... i think

well i have seen an xbox boot disc on my usual haunt and it works too and also they have cd rips for the xbox that auto boot without modded machines so you lot invalidated ur warranty without cause LOL but fukkers

YOU HAVE TO HAVE A fusking MODCHIP to play backups i don't care what you say adders it will not work period.. and for the sake of argument lets say it will play a cd-rw with a game who cares.. There are like 5 games that will fit on a cd anyways.. you are wrong dont care what your response is.
You dont need a modchip installed in your xbox if you flash your TSOP with a good bios.So, if you know how to flash your TSOP you won't need to have a modchip installed in your xbox.
No.. You don't need a modchip.. My friend just installed this software that bypasses the mod and goes straight to the pheonix dash. He can play all the games i have backed up.. I got my box modded for no reason damn!
Shinobi is right. Up until last week you DID have to have a modchip to play backups. Now you don't. There is a bootdisc that basically does everything a modchip does. I'm not mentioning names or giving donwload links, but it's new, it's out there and it works. None of these stupid CopyDVD backup your XBOX games programs work though.

ok. i need for someone to give me a BIG explination. i have the enigmah modchip installed on my Xbox . i have a CD writer. and a DVD rom. i need to know if i can make my own bak-ups for Xbox games just with this. and if yes . where can i find the cheapest software to let me do this. and i dont know if this is stupid. but if i have an Xbox game on a burned CD rom will it work or does it have to be on a DVD
