Hi, about a month or two ago i was able to connect to the internet via my wireless network (Linksys) almost everywhere in my house on my macbook. But now for some reason my macbook can't find the signal. Neither can my dad's laptop or my sisters. They all used to be able to pick up signals from about 10-15 ft away from the room, but not anymore. The only way for them to get internet on their laptops is to connect it with the ethernet cables. Why do that with a laptop though right? Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
reconnect the router's antenna to see if that corrects the problem, if not then have to get a new wireless router. is router still under warranty?
I think the router still works, because i have two desktops hooked up to it through ethernet cables though.
the antenna section might not. does the laptops pick up a signal when beside the router but not connected by cable?
