no parralell port for rs cable

I Got a new m/b ,not that lomg ago . The problem is i dont have the parralell port for the rs cable to go . Is there anyother options i can do to d/l firmware . I have a digivox sl if that helps . thanks for looking at this and hope you undertsnad what i mean .

USB - Serial adaptor should solve your problem
