No Power to my SV4 ?

    Hi
    I just got a SV$ and when i plurred it in there is a blank screen on the box, anyone any ideas or will i just return it ?

    Is it flashed? Maybe you are missing the logo file also, more info needed.

    Which version? Is there any LEDS on the front display? It must have power to be able to carry out the flash. Did you carry out a scan?

    If its a clone and you used the latest firmware you may be in trouble.

    It had power when i flashed it and scanned it, but when i unplugged it to move it to another room there was no power to it (ie no led or nothing)

    Look down through the grills on top of the box do you see a silver square covering the CPU?

    Also plug it in and look at the SPDIF connection on the back of the box you should see that LED light up.

    No its not a clone, i had channels on it and there is no silver foil on top.
    it just died on me

    Is there light coming from the SPDIF connection on the back of the box when powered up as said above?

    No, no light ,nothing.no lights anywhere

    Sorry about that I was checking a few things. All I can offer advise on is to send it back as faulty under warranty. Probably not what you wanted to hear.
