no power

    hi lads
    i have a euro vox i turned it off at the wall and now it has no power the power going in is fine but the box is totally dead can anyone help

    if it is eurovox 2008 max black, it could be dead.
    there is a critical alert out from them, check links on forum.

    Can you remember what colour package b0x it was in ?

    no m8 not to sure ijust know its about 12 month ago when i got it

    It could have been red or blue ?

    Anyway if the b0x has no power in it at all it will need to be jtagged to bring it back to life

    In the 2006 model if you look down on the machine from above, where the air vents are (rear,right hand corner) you will see the SILVER 'RF' tuner extending 12 slots in length.

    In the 2007 model this only extends 8 slots in length.

    thanks m8 mine has the 12 slots were the tuner is will it still need to be jtagged

    I would say so if you have no power in it at all

    celtic m8 could you tell me if i need bufferd or unbufferd jtagg cable

    Sorry I have no idea about jtag , you could ask Fergus or Scouser as they know about all that stuff lol
