hi i'm getting no sound for my gateway computer it's a windows 98 se i had to reinstall windows a while ago the sound was working before i did that and now it's not can anyone help thank u.
It seems to me that when you reinstalled ur OS the driver got "lost" Go to Gateway.com and download the sound driver(s) from there. Im not sure if they still have the drivers for a '98, but you can give it a try.
when to gateway site could not finthing there to help, one on my mates gave me a program that worked, thank forhlp.
