HI friend, i had downloaded a hindi movie which is having .dat extension. this file plays smoothly in my PC, but when i played it in my dvdplayer(divx support)there is no audio. Is there any software to correct this audio problem so that it can be played effectively in dvd players. Also please specify the best software that removes all this kind of problems. thank you.
tell us the brand/version of your dvd player?? it seems it supports the video codec but not the audio codec, your going to have to convert your video to a supported format and reburn it! -tripplite
hi tripplite, the dvd player is sansui sdvd 2600. which is the best software available for conversion that doesnot loose the quality of video.
i did a quick search on sansui sdvd 2600 and it brings up nothing? can you give me the specs or a link to the player? -tripplite
i also checked it, i couldnt find it. i think the player is a local one. please help me to solve the problem i mentioned earlier in the thread
Try converting the .DAT to MPEG using VCD Gear. It might fix the audio stream during the conversion process. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vcdgearburnatonce.cfm
