    Hi all

Firstly let me say what a great site you have here and what great forumns.

I have followed the guide to converting my AVI's to DVD on this site. I found the guide to be spot on and everything seemed to be working.

The problem is I have now encoded to AVI's to DVD and each time have excellent quality video but no sound.

The MP2's i created don't even have sound when i play them in WM9.

    Anyone know whats happening.

    TIA

most avi's have compressed audio, you have to decompress audio using virtualdub, which i havent tried,i use decompress exe.you can get decompress as a free package in avi2vcd its a freeware package you can search google for it.the package itself isnt much good but the decompess exe. is the bomb!
ok ill save you the search i found what you want..http://home.cogeco.ca/~avi2vcd/
im guessing this is your problem but ive been wrong before lol

    good luck
