    Please help me,
I can get the videos to convert using QT pro 7.0+ but there is no sound to the videos when I try to play the video on my iPod or in iTunes. Am I missing a setting somewhere? The "manual" says to drag/drop the video to the "Videos" category in iTunes... program allows video to be droped in a playlist but not the video folder/playlist.(is this my problem/ if how do i fix that?)
    Thanks Jeff T.

iPod supports the following video formats:

File formats: .m4v, .mp4 and .mov
Video: Up to 768 Kbps, 320 x 240, 30 frames per second (fps), Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3
Audio: AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 KHz, stereo audio
    MPEG-4 video
File formats: .m4v, .mp4 and .mov
    Video: Up to 2.5 Mbps, 480 x 480, 30 fps, Simple Profile
Audio: AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 KHz, stereo audio

Tutorials can be found here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/

Another, many mpg/mpeg files (really mpeg-1) are muxed. The audio and video are not easily separable. No QT Pro will split these tracks. Try:

    or

If you are using PC, might as well try another software following the guide at the top of this forum.

Did you ever find a solution to this? Just encountered the same problem. OT converts without sound and i thought ipod video would be a breeze to use!
