Still having a no sound problem on my home dvd player but all works well on my computer. I decompressed my avi files still nothing. Tried different programs and still nothing. I installed a codec program still nothing. My home DVD player does not support divx so i am not sure if my converting program is wrong i am using avi2dvd. I've been through the guide but get kind of lost on where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Do you have access to Nero 7? There is a really good encoder called Nero Recode that would take care of that problem for you. You could also try some of the divx to dvd software out there. There is a lot of support for that on this site. I haven't tried them because Nero always works for me.
