I'm a first time user, found your site through a google search, and think its awesome! My Nokia 3120 says phone restricted, and i dont have a owners manual. How do i unlock it? there are a bunch of numbers on it but I believe the serial number(called a IMEI) is 353783004055061 with service through AT&T. model #(part number?) is 9755300927 Phone was bought in december of '04 My country is USA. ive been reading other posts and i know im near my lockout number. does it matter if the SIM card is in or not? The phone was bought at a garage sale for a backup, and now that I need it and put the sim in, it locked me out. Thanks!!!!! -Emily
Thanks for replying!! However, I entered the code and it said "code error". I checked it twice, and even re-entered it to make sure it was correct, but still no luck. Do you need more info? I was getting info off the box, but according to the back of the phone: Model:3120b Type:RH-50 IC:661U-RH50 IMEI:353783003189549 Code:05180641L18T8 AWS part#:797553009276 probably way to much info, but the more the better? can you still help me?
Put another activated sim in. The phone is most likely already unlocked. Many 3120's were sent out to customers by the thousands a few years back unlocked.
I started it up with the SIM in, and it said "Phone Restricted" there's an "undo" button and it takes me to a screen that says "enter restriction code".
