    heres a beatuy for you.

Got a Nokia 6230. When I got it it was locked to Orange (UK). Put it into a shop to get unlocked, and yeah I can now put my Virgin Mobile Sim card in it, but each time I try to set the memory to let me save onto Phone and Sim, it tells me the phone’s memory is protected. I’ve already tried the default 12345, but that code does not work. And to my knowledge, that code was never changed.

    Any Ideas?

Failing this.. handset still under warranty, so ill get handset replaced soon. but in the mean time...

    IMEI: 352953007210952

Try to remove MMC. It seems like MMC is locked.
