    hi was wondering if someone can help me unlock my restricted phone.

    it was on tmobile and i want to add a 02 sim at some point and its asking for a restriction code. what do i do, can some one help please

    I understand that but what I'm asking is what was your providers name before T-Mobile bought them out. I do not show T-Mobile in your area. I need the name they used to be.

    hi tried that, it didnt say code error, it accepted the code it but then still said phone restricted afterwards!!!!

    its says cannot undo restriction.......

    am i doing something wrong or does this happen!!!!

    You should have let me know you had already tried other codes. I have only given you 2 and sometimes the 6230i can be a hard one to do. You only have 5 chances to enter the wrong code and it will hardlock which is what has happened to yours. It's hardlocked to T-Mobile only and can only be unlocked using a DCT 4 clip.

    i can still enter more codes tho, ive only tried it twice what u gave me!

    Will i have to take it to a shop!

    Yes, you will have to take it to a shop. Some 6230's only allow 3 attempts and some allow 5 and I only gave you 2 so someone has already tried another before I gave you the 2 codes. Sorry this happened. It's rare that it does happen.
