It is the general opinion of myself and others that at this moment in time this fone can only be unlocked via the service provider it is locked to (If they will). It would be a waste of the 5 (I have heard only 3 on these BB5 models) try's you have, to input the unlock code wrongly at the moment, it is only a matter of time before someone, somewhere find a way of unlocking either by cable or by code. There are people on this forum, offering to sell an unlock for the 6630 and 6680. Some have learned the hard way and been ripped off. [bold]Be warned, the only way of getting these fones unlocked at the moment is to contact your service provider and purchase an unlock code (If they will sell you one).[/bold]
