every time i switch my tv off, and then start it up again next day. the dbox will not show menus, unless i unplug it and then plug it back in again.
Are you leaving the dbox on for all this time? I noticed well into some settings that there was a "deep standby", think the number was 999. I think if you press the off button quickly once it goes into normal standby where it shows the clock, then after a good while it might go into "deep standby", which could be causing your trouble. I noticed mine was gone bad one morning too, I normally shutdown full though. No need to ever unplug it, on the front of the unit there are 3 buttons, press and hold down the top and bottom buttons and it will reset the machine fully, just like unplugging it.
