T-Mobile in the USA doesn't carry the 1600

If it was Cellular One, it would be unlocked. Most 1600's in the USA are Net 10 and Tracfone and they can be unlocked but it's useless because they have a time tank built in.

Example: You got it at a garage sale and it is a Tracfone and it has no units left in it's time tank software. You then put in a Cingular, AT&T, T-mobile sim card with minutes on it, it's not going to work because there are no units left on the Tracfone.
