Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra Issues

I recently got a used 30gig Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra and it did not come with any disks or manuals. I figured it would be ok since the drivers should be available online. I found and installed the drivers as well as the zencast organizer but nothing seems to be working. The zen can see when its connected to the computer and tries to perform a sync but the computer dosent see the zen and the organizer just keeps saying 'please connect your creative portable device and hit ok'

I've tried everything but am at a loss of what to do. The player can still play the songs it came with but I cant load anything new.
