None of my cardreaders are showing. XP SP3 This includes my mediabay slots on my freecom drive, slots on my hp printer c4180, psp,mobile phones ect. I can access usb on other devices. Alright no drive showing up. Device Manager sees them and reports they are working. Disk Managment can not see them so it's not a case of changing letter. Connection is fine. I get report when a device is attached with the bleep sound that is it. So it's a case they are there but not showing. Tried restoring poss damage files with xp. Uninstalled and reinstalled software. Removed devices in device manager and rescanned. Nothing. Any ideas better than mine (which at present is launching the whole system out of the window)
Fixed the problem. Anyone else has the same issue then grab ComboFix and install and run it. Sorted my problem out.
