I own a chipped x-box. I was trying to get unlock the memory on one of the partitions. I set to "Autorecognize Partitions" to Off in Media Center. Now My e:\apps\ folder seems to be empty. When I try to start Media center or dvd2xbox I get a "E:\Apps\dvd2xbox\default.xbe is missing" message. Can anyone help me here. I'm very new to the modding scene. I dont have FTP I can get it I'm sure. So Sorry, I don't really have much to offer accept a donation.
check to see if there's anything in the settings saying 'enable e drive' type stuff. Maybe you just disabled the drive.
I was able to get into my FTP browser on a fluke. I put in a Playstation game, and it popped it right up. My "Apps file is missing and all of it's contents. I'm going to try and get the files off of the net. I don't really know if it will work though.
