I am VERY new to this, In fact, this is my first project. Here the deal:

1)Downloaded Gone in 60 seconds in AVI format.
2)watched and liked the movie and decided to make my own DVD copy.
3)Got WinAVI and converted AVI file to DVD.
    4) After converstion I select to burn burn your DVD now.
    5) Everything goes to crap!

Now I have Nero 6 and I should be able to burn my new DVD files using that, however I get an error that the VTS_01_1.VOB is over 2Gb and cannot be used. SO, I decided NOT to use nero and to use the built in burner that's included with WinAVI. I STILL get a burn error!

How to I take the newly created DVD Files that WinAVI has made and burn them to a working DVD?

I would suggest using VSO DivxToDvd to convert to .avi and then use Nero to burn but burn really slow like 2x tell me if you have any luck

Dumb noob question here, but If I were to just take the contents of the Audio_TS folder and burn them onto a DVD as a data disk, would my DVD player see the data and read it?!?!

no it won't play it, but the first question should have been put here 'MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 encoding (AVI to DVD)' not in DVD Authoring
