Ok, please take not of my sig. Out of a good will guesture i have changed it back to the original form i had it. I have never seen such an uproar made from such a simple thing, but i do understand how you could feel as though you were being unfairly treated by not being allowed to have your site in your sig.
I have done this out of respect for the Admins and mods of this site like Darthnip & Nephilim, who have been the unfortunate victims of the abuse for which i can only assume that i was the cause of.
I hope to bring an end to the war of word, and to hopefully bring peace to the forums. And also hope that those members who had a problem with my sig will stick around and share their knowledge with the people who desperately need it.

And just to make sure everyone is strait on this issue. In no way was i asked or forced to change my sig. It was purely out of respect to the other modding community sites.

You might not have been asked or forced steimy, but i think it's lame that you had to change your sig, just because people from other modding sites decided that you where "advertising", which you obviously weren't.

As far as i could tell you where just proud of being a member there, whereas these other fellows just seem to want some free advertising.

    Just my 2 cents though.

(and before anyone starts about me being just another fanboy, no i'm not, i have never even done business with Team modders, and i'm not a member of their forums either)

    The_Fiend, thanks.
But i just have to say that they did have a valid point and
have the right to express their opinions on it.
I have no problem with what sig i use, i am just here to help people, not cause conflicts.

I just find it so utterly stupid.

I've been on here for about 3/4 of a year (previously under another name), and in all that time, you have been one of the top people in the ps2 forums, never once seen you cause any problems, and now that these pr*cks come along they start whining about this, and even now you behave like a gentleman and try to accomodate everyone.

And let's be honest, Team modders is also the forum, which your sig was about, and no one ever made a problem out of it before.

IMHO, these guys should just get a life and leave well enough alone, but again, that's my 2 cents, nothing but respect for you for solving this matter in such a mature way, god knows i would have just old them to go and get stuffed.

I gotta say that I completely agree with The_Fiend. It's not like you were advertising the mod/install portion of TM, just that you were a moderator in their forums.

On a plus side, I do have to say that I like seeing the Half-Life sig again....brings back memories!

Yeah, i used a new brand of powder with my ammo, and it was a bit more potent than the brand i usually use... left some minor damage on th inside of the barrel, and the recoil was a bit to much for me to keep a proper aim, so i thought i'd have it weighted down some more, and i had them adjust the trigger pull a bit.

What powder do you use for your .45's? I've been a long time fan of Accurate Arms powders and love their No. 5 for 9mm, .40 and .45. The stuff flows through powder measures like a dream.

Do you use a progressive press for your handgun ammo?

Nah, i use a single stage press, for the obvious reasons.
The powder i use is made by the local gunsmith, he calls it Frag powder...
Haven't had a chance to disect the compounds yet to see what makes it so strong, but it sure packs one hell of a punch.

Wow, custom powder for a custom pistol!

I used a Dillon Square Deal for all my handgun ammo and a good 'ol RCBS RockChucker for all the rifle stuff :)

Not so much custom powder, it's just that it was cheap, and good.
I don't even think i have a 'brand' press, i bought the thing back in Ft. Worth in 1996, it was like $30 back then, has no markings/labels, and it's still going strong after all that time.

I only reload my own .45 and .22 rimfire nowadays, i just buy 9 mill rounds at the range, since i can get them @ wholesale price.

[edit] i wonder who moved this [/edit]

I have a pretty cool pellet gun, Gamo Shadow 1000, it goes 1000ft. per second. I like it, but it is [bold]way[/bold] too loud to shoot in my back yard.

Hmmm...this thread has gone a bit adrift unless, of course, one is planning to shoot our friend steimy (just kidding guy LOL)! Anyway, Steimy, you did what you thought was right and what you thought was best out of consideration and that's always cool. Sometimes its important to stand firm and stick to your guns but if the matter isn't of particular importance to you then you did great in trying to appease. Just my two cents.

I agree with that, but it's not worth causing problems over a meaningless sig, but I didn't think that it was that big of a deal. :)
