normalize volume for audio files

so i have a bunch of downloaded music videos from youtube.some of them are not as loud as others.how do i go about making the volume the same on all of them?

attar, does the normalization work the same of videos as it does for audio, in that the volume setting is just raised?

 

Only the audio is changed, the video is not re-encoded.
