Hey guys, ive got a small problem. I want to install Norton Internet Security 2005 - Antispyware Editon But every time the installation proces gets like half way throu i get this error message: Norton Antivirus had an internal error, uninstall and reinstall the program etc. Ive tried it like 50 times already and every time i get the same error. I hope someone can help me out ! thanks in advance !
do you meet the system requirements as had thjat problem with a customer? was running xp with 128meg ram & onboard video, wouldn't install program than saw the requirements. installed another 128meg of ram but still lost ram to onboard & norton still not install. customer returned norton & got mcaffee which installed & ran properly.
I had the same problem with norton's '06 version and come to find out after calling to Symantec they sent me a link to my email that corrected the problem. I could only get halfway thru the installation and it would "Freeze up " on me as well.
