Not enough space on CD-R

    Hi,

I've tried looking for an answer to what seems like a simple question but with the wealth of information out there my head is spinning.

I'm using Nero Express 6 or Nerovision Express 2, and all I want to do is be able to burn one movie onto 2 CD-R's as 1 disc is not big enough. I'll be using them to play on my stand alone DVD player.

There must be a software program out there that can help? It does not matter what format my movies are saved in as my DVD player supports everything I chuck at it.

I would normally use a DVD-R or DVD-RW but when I burnt a 710 MB movie onto one it took up most of the disc.

As you can tell I am a newbie to all of this so any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Oooh I shall try this. But why on earth can't I use Nero to just burn the movie onto one 700MB CD-R and when the disc is full just pop in another one and Nero can finish burning the rest of the movie?

uhhhhhhh i could go into some really long, complicated and to be honest, highly convoluted explantion but essentially "becayse it just doesnt work that way" -- note that you cant do that with harddrives or floppies either.

Okay I was just wondering if it was something I was doing. I'll do as you suggested. Thanks for your help.
