Not getting email updates on threads

    I haven't had any emails in the last 24 hours when subscribed threads update.
    I checked and noted that at least a dozen had responses.
    I assume it's caused by the new, super-duper improvements to the site - in any case, until the site starts working properly, I shall be on hiatus.

    Not that you will see this as you aren't getting email notifications and are on hiatus...but just below the "post reply" button you will notice two boxes to check. The top one reads "Check this box, if you want to get email notifications when new messages are added to this thread."

    If you check this box you will get the necessary notification.

    Hi, I never closed the browser.
    The box is checked (I haven't changed the settings in my profile since day one).
    I noticed this problem yesterday at the same time the times were "wrong" on some posts.

    Still not getting the notifications? I guess we will have to wait for dRD or Ketola to chime in with a fix.

    Neither Hotmail nor Yahoo accounts receive email.
    Meantime I am using a private server which does work.
