every video file that i download will not work when i try to play it. I can't do anything to it without a window popping up saying that windows has encountered a problem and has to shut down. Most of them are avi. files I cant do anything to them (play them. rename them, move them, convert them to a dvd, NOTHING). but for some reason they will play thru the divx player and burn as a divx file but nothing else. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?
I'm having exactly the same problem. I have checked for the required codecs - Gspot indicates all the codecs are in place. I haven't experienced this before on any other downloads. If anyone could help I'd be grateful, too. Cheers.
