Hi, I have tried to join 36 AVI clips with a total size of 387Mb using Media Join. The result is a Massive file of 22Gb but it is obviously too large to fit on a DVD. Can someone please point me in the right direction without it being too complicated as I am a real Novice & don't understand all this "Frames per Second" & Bitrates & Codecs!!!! . One of the Video Compression options that I chose compressed it too much & it was all pixelated & jerky. Many thanks

Doesn't matter what size the avi is.
It needs to be encoded to mpeg-2 for DVD, so you take the amount of running time of your video(s), times the bitrate used in the mpeg-2, and that equals the total size in bytes.
    Use a bitrate calculator: http://www.videohelp.com/calc
