NTFS in linux

    anyone know of anything that will can not only read, but write to NTFS partitions under linux?

    There used to be a project on SourceForge trying to get a working driver but I think it was abandonded. http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net

    It might be easier to go the other way. There are Linux ext2/ext3 filesystem drivers for NT so you can always boot into NT to transfer files between ntfs and ext2/3 partitions if you have a dual boot machine.

    Another way to access ntfs files from linux is over the network. If you have a second machine, share the ntfs files on the first machine and access them over a network from the second.
