nthell broadband and boxes question

    Anyone got nthell broadband and a dodgy box,any ideas if both work or does the broadband knock them off,a pal considering getting the bband and a box, anyone any ideas if you can use both,never seen this question posted before thanks

    hi there ive been using it for about 2 years now with the starview 3 but it has gone recently due to the nag upgrade nothing to do with the nthell b/band though. worked fine all along

    thanks slyp98 i will pass on the info,is the broadband any use by the way,its supposed to be 10mb no contention,is this true,as it sounds too good to be so?

    Yeah had a box and broadband with no problem. There's a €6 fee for having broadband without tv.
    The no contention thing is true.

    if you have the digital package basic is there a fee?

    ive only the 1 mb its fine for everyday stuff a bit slow if your gaming and p to p stuff the 10 mb is around 32 quid a mo and the 1mb is 15 the 3mb is 22 so that might be a good comp.

    u know you can buy dodgy modems too for free internet ;)

    Contention on a 10Mb connection will be a minimum of 30 to 1 tyically it is more like 50

    ebay. search for motorola surfboard modems.

    if you have one of the little blue modems you can connect a cable inside and software flash it with haxorware.
