hi, just on sunday i was at my grandas house becase his internet was not working, so i went up to have a look, but i could not fix it. can anyone help, the computer registered a connection between the modem an the CPU but it did not register a connection between the modem and the phone line, i cheaked the wire and made sure all connections were all plugged in correctly but nothing happened, can anyone help... !!thecraigc!!
windows sees the modem, does it do the diagnostic tests ok & is there a dial tone found when trying to dialup
yes it is broadband and when i tried to reconnect it done the annoying tone that sounds like an iratated donkey !!thecraigc!!
can you replace the phone cord between the wall jack & the modem. can you try the modem on another line & a computer to see if problem follows or not
