ntsc to pal conversion

    can anybody tell me if there are programmes outthere which convert ntsc to pal if so which are the best programmes

    I like Canopus Procoder a lot for PAL to NTSC (I assume it works just as good the other way). But this is apretty pricey piece of software if you have only limited use for it.

    DVD2SVCD can convert NTSC to PAL (but not the other way around) using TMPGEnc PLUS as its encoder, and the settings can be "tweaked" to produce DVD-compatible files (rather than SVCD). There is a guide to the proces at

    I use TMPGEnc to convert...use the wizard its really simply...also look for a guide for the conversion.
