I have several AVI files that were created from old 16mm home movies. Because there was a serious color shift to red over the years, I used VirtualDubMod to convert the files to grayscale as well as to sharpen a few scenes - it was impossible to reduce the red to make a reasonable color video. They actually turned out pretty good considering what they looked like originally. The result was 24 AVI files of varying sizes. I opened them all in Nero Vision, combined them and exported them to an MPEG file. The resulting MPEG is extremely jittery - nowhere near as smooth as the files I inputted into NeroVision and unacceptable as a DVD. What do you think the problem is and how can I overcome it? Thanks EdP
does your player play mpegs with out making them vob/ifo/bup ? ok do you have a codec pack installed? also try dvd flick its free (avi to dvd) out of curiosity play the file with VLC a awesome free player
Thanks for the reply, rotary ... Apparently it's a problem with Nero, not the player. I installed and used DVDFlick to combine and burn the files to a DVD and there was no jitter. Thanks for the recommendation EdP
