This may sound like a thick question but I have never captured anything from an Analogue device before. I have an NVidia Geforce 5600 256mb graphics card in my pc and was wondering if I can use this to capture from an Analogue video or do I need to buy a different card? If this card is crap can anyone recommend a good one that I could use?
Also my video only has scart outputs,Is there some sort of converter that you buy to connect it up?
(I am in the UK so will be for a PAL system if that makes a difference)

    Any help appreciated

You will need a tv tuner card. The nvidia video cards only have video out, not video in.
