How to make a piece of CD R multisessional? I mean burn / add things again and again instead one time only And , can i edit/replace/delete the existed files in a burned CD R? if so, how? thanks
No way of deleting data that has been burnt to a CDR, but there is a way you can ADD data. Well...using Nero anyway. Using nero, its an option before burning starts, just check the box saying "make this a multisession disk"
but i have checked it it cant be multisession too what i done wrong shouls i check the verify data box as well?
There are three choices in Nero for a data CD-R: 1) start multi-session 2) continue multi-session 3) no multi-session Picking 1 or 2 will not allow you to finalize a disc, which makes sense because you want to continue to add to it. You can only finalize a disc if you choose #3. If you want to add to a disc that is already started, you should select #2. Once the disc is complete, choose #3 and finalize. Verification is a process that compares the original files to what the drive reads off the disc. It has no influence on multi-session writing.
After selecting "data CD," the large screen opens to allow you to drag files from an Explorer-like tree to the compilation you will be recording. Once the files are in place, you have to click on "Burn" to get started. On the "Burn" page there are a number of tabs at the top. The second one from the left, after "Info," is "Multi-session." Click that tab and (in Nero 7.8 and upwards) in that page you will see the three choices.
yes mate, you see where it says "allow files to be added later (multisession disc)". That what we are on about. How could u miss that after us telling u. ANyway, you already have the box ticked, so have you tried it yet?
ive tried it but after burning i insert the cd again to add things it said "pls insert a writable cd" and ejects the cd out ive checked that box?!
