what is a good laptop... im thinking of a macbook pro but they are hot 200+ degree F and they are expensive also tax is like $200 tax. I dont want to spend 3k on a mac. But right now i need a mac and i need a laptop, which is why i might get a macbook pro. Anyone know how well windows run on macs? Should i spend 3k on a mac w/ apple care.
I really dont like computers that arent custom built, but when it comes to laptops i dont really have a choice. I do not like dell (alienware is bought by dell, although i heard they are still decent), all HP look the same (not that its a problem, but i dont like compaq) I heard Sony, and IBM are good, but i have never used a sony or ibm computer. Yes, im quite picky with the brands, as with the specs it dont matter too much, as long as its a 7200rpm hdd, most r pretty decent anyway.
    thx.

You seem to have the numbers 200 and 2000 confused. Which do you mean?
