ogg files are WMP compatible you just need a dshow ogg splitter, theora decoder and vorbis/speex/flac (depends what audio the ogg contains) audio decoder.

illiminable's filters or Haali's splitter and ffdshow would be two options. At least I am pretty sure that Haali's splitter can handle ogg theora now.

There is also a fairly decent chance that you mean ogm and not ogg files. ogm != ogg.

There are 83 files in OGM format. The video is encoded with xvid, and the audio with OGG Vorbis. all of the files have 2 audio tracks, something not possible with most other audio codecs.I need to use nero to burn them on to disks, but nero wont recognize them, can u help me with that? Also, there already chapters encrypted into each file, will nero autmaticlay recognize them?

I needed to convert from/to the ogg vorbis format for a few audio files last year. Don't really remember which program that I used. It may have been a "trial" program as a needed only a few files converted. There should be some free programs out there. You can certainly find a good one to buy if you are going to need it long term. I just ran a search on ogg vorbis converter and got more results than you could ever wish for. I would check on the first page or two. No need to search all 702,000.

Yeah, I thought that you probably meant ogm. As I said ogg and ogm are not the same thing. Also it is ogg or Ogg, never OGG. Plenty of free vorbis converters since all Xiph stuff is free (no patent or license fees).

To burn to disc, it doesn't matter what the files are. Data is data. Sounds like you are actually using Nero to convert. Personally I would suggest something else.

Multiple audio streams is basically possible with any codec; mp3, aac, AC3, DTS, etc. Not just vorbis.

ogmdemuxer should be able to extract the subs.

NVE uses dshow for input, so if you have an ogm splitter, XviD decoder and vorbis decoder, it should be able to open them. The dual audio could cause problems though.

Searched on "windows media player ogg vorbis" and found the illiminable's codecs for the WMP. Also got one of my old .ogg music files. Tried playing the music and Roxio's AudioCentral started right up - even before installing the new codecs. Then tried using WMP on the same file and it said the codecs were missing.

So ... installed the codecs and then WMP recognized the file right away.

Thought you might want to know about the Roxio player and to confirm immediate success with WMP.
