Check out the price for a PSP power switch! Someone with skill can make one with ease!!! (Or use something off of something else!)

This kinda stuff pisses me off!

Please, never order from this site, Divineo.cn is the best, as I usually order from, but then again, that's my opinion!

    Post are welcomed and appriciated!

That's $59.95 for the switch PLUS installation AND return shipping.

    Not just the part.

    That's STILL a ripoff.

    Sheesh.

Minimum soldering skills required here.... ::)

Well... you must know how to work with PCB's mainly.

I can see if you are fixing this for a buddy, $59.95 might seem alot. But having watched my parents run a business before, there's alot more that someone has to take out of that price than the cost of the part. Anyone who ever had to pay rent on a building, pay FICA on employees, insurance, business taxes, income taxes, utilities ... (god the list goes on and on) you can't just charge for the cost of a part and minimal labor and keep the lights on long.

If its my PSP I would care more about whether or not the job was done well. I can't solder. I don't know anyone who can solder. I'm hoping this part doesn't break on my unit, but if it does ... the price is a heck of alot better than turning it into a paperweight. $50 plus shipping ... eh ... not bad to get the job done right. None of the electronic repair shops in my city will touch one of these.
