Well, as some of you know, yours truly has done some angry rants in the past.
Well at the moment i'm looking into making podcasts of my rants, BUT, i need some kind of voice changing software.
And that's where i got stuck.
I've tried a few, but they're all either payed, or don't work as desired.
And google isn't being too cooperative either, i'm guessing i'm either using the wrong search terms, or need to know some names..

Now, i'm hoping somebody can help me find something nice, that either won't cost me a dime, or isn't too expensive, and payable through paypall *without a creditcard*.
Also, to clarify what i need, i need to be able to change the pitch and timbre of my voice to get the desired effect...
Any help will be greatly appreciated, possibly rewarded ;-)

are you trying to just alter your voice to not be identified, dan? or are you trying to get something to create a near-professional online radio type show? if it's the latter, i have a few friends with online radio shows and actual stations that might be able to help; if the former, even Audacity could do it.

MorphVOX will change your voice to match your personality. You can sound like a spryly wood nymph, a bad tempered dwarf or a Sith Lord. MorphVOX even allows you to create your own unique voices with easy to use controls.

Check out the many free downloadable voice changing packs. You can add dozens of cool voices and sound effects to MorphVOX for even more fun.

MorphVOX is optimized for online games, but is also great for prank calling friends via instant messaging, VoIP and creating voice-overs. This voice changer can even send out belches and drum rolls with a push of a key, mouse or joystick button.

MorphVOX voice changer is fully functional for a free trial, and when you decide to buy, you buy it once, no subscriptions -- that's it!

@ Larry : i "tried" those, they didn't work the way i wanted...
@ Ireland, that one does what i want.. might get that once i get some cash...
@ t3h furry : Well, i'm using audacity, it can change the pitch, but not the timbre of my voice... i'm trying to gt to a result that resembles Foamy the squirrel, and the one ireland lined to gets as close as humanly possible, but it runs out in 6 days... and i'm outta cash.
Also, not too sure about it working too well when linked with audacity... will try it.

Anyway, thanks for the replies so far guys :)

Give Jet Audio a try. It has a SFX button that will change pitch,Speed, and FX of your voice. It's a free download.

    The FBC

the fbc is the furry broadcasting corporation. it's run by a guy known as Jaie Davis on the net. he and his cohorts have put together a multitude of shows and legit (rare for online radio, it seems) music to create a station that i honestly can't tell is not backed by a FM broadcasting company. his email is on the main page; he would happily tell you what he uses and maybe give you a hookup.

    *edit*
shameless plug time! while you're there, check out the podcasts/shows. only about half the stuff is furry; it really is a good radio station. you can listen for free and pick up a subscription to download the subscriber-only podcasts (i did, and it was very much worth it--i have gigs on my mp3 player from them). it's pretty much a non-profit station--jaie is in the red every month anyway, so i think it should count as non-profit. ^.^

Jet aduio... hmm, all i seem to find is a media player.
I'll see about contacting the other furry, i take it they use voice changing software a lot then ? *haven't listened yet, busy uploading some stuff to my laptop*.

uh, let's see...basically they use a full station suite. voice changing, sound effects, music, audio composition of many things...but i know they did a lot of research before they picked the software. jaie should be about the ultimate source for this type of thing.

I have Ronin. they didn't have much there that was properly listed...
it came up with that audio4fun one larrylje found, tried, it, then dumped it because it wouldn't record properly.
