Think I'm gonna' send it back. What else is out there that actually works? Basically I want to take my home VHS movies and turn them into DVD's with a menu and some effects. Let me hear your favorites.

    What format are your captures?
If avi, encode to m2v video in Canopus, Mainconcept, CCE, or tmpgenc.
    Rip audio in virtualdubmod.
    Transcode to AC3 in ffmpeggui.
    Author in DVDLab Pro.
If you want to add effects, and author, try Vegas Movie Studio 4 (or Vegas 5 or 6).
