I revently softmodded my Xbox using the Splinter Cell savehack method, installing Evox to it. Then, all of a sudden, when attempting to FTP, the connection would be "forcefully rejected by the server", but sometimes it'd still work. Then I installed a larger (60 gig) hard drive, and it happens all the time. Also, my friend softmodded his Xbox using the same exact methods, and used the same methods to install a larger (40 gig) hard drive on his 'box, and now he cant FTP, getting the same errors as myself.

I'm stumped on what to do to fix this, being stuck with what I already have on the HD or on disc. I have tried reinstalling my dash as well as my friend's, using UX and Avalauncher both.

Any idea on how to fix this?
    Thanks in advance,
    -Systematic

I used the Unleashx auto installer, and xboxhdm for the hard drive mod.
And I can't get a chip right now, because the last two times my mom used her card online (EBay), she got her identity stolen, and I'm a year away from getting a card myself.

...wtf are you talking about? I used an auto installer on the XBOX from a save I put on the mem card with the whole XBox-controller-to-USB mod. Works likes a charm with the AR software, and saves me $20, plus gives me a use for that controller that stopped responding to button presses. :p

Does anyone have a productive solution?

Forcefully rejected by the server? Haven't gotten that before.

If you have a firewall, disable it and see if it makes a difference.

I did that already. And I partially figured out the problem. I switched from Static IP to DHCP and now I can connect, etc, but if a file fails to transfer and I get a socket error, I have to restart my FTP to reconnect, because my xbox doesnt recognize disconnections on my PC's end. =/
