Old Eurovox - ceased working (not Ireland)

A friend of mine has a very very old Eurovox - so old the model number has faded away.

Anyways, this silver box - best way I can describe it sorry is no longer decodong any channels - he has had it about 4 years now.

i have told him that he has had his moneys worth - but thought i would ask if there are any firmware updates for this box - if anybody can work out what it is...

If I recall correctly it hasnt autoupdated since the last frequency change back in nov/dec 08... He has been inputting codes manually - but even this doesnt work anymore.

Location is telepest Croydon area

 

Just had a quick lookup at some pics...and it looks like an old Eurovox v.2

 

Check the link in my sig, there should be a firmware update these and it should work on telepest.
