moved to correct forum as not a "building a new pc" issue. redo that 2nd sentence so we can understand it. were is the loud noise coming from, the psu, the hard drive or what?

Sounds like a dead hard drive; hard drives usually don't make loud noises when they are working correctly. It might be something that can be recovered by professionals specializing in recovering data directly from the platters, but that would be very expensive. This is why people do backups, this is why RAID exists. Worrying about your data at this point is like buying car insurance after the accident.

how do i find places that will do the recovering data? I was looking into build a new computer so i could back up my whole harddrive. Seems like it will have to wait till i can get at least some of the files back.

Next time do backups or get RAID1; simply having a new hard drive is no guarantee.
